Before I proceed further, I nak share sikit sharing from The Quran Notes Newsletter:
Imagine you didn't believe in yourself. You don't think you are that good, but you applied for a job anyway. You applied and you're like, "I am pretty sure they are not going to hire me."
You get a call back and they want to give you the executive position.
Way higher.
And from what you know of yourself, you're like "I am so not qualified for this." But you get put in that position anyway.
Now once you get put in that position, I want you to think about and I want myself to think about "What's going on in my head inside?"
Am I thinking, "Yep. The boss is here. Watch out. That's my chair."
Or are you thinking, "I have been given such a high position. I better live up to this. I'd better up my game. I better learn more. I better become more adaptive. I better honor this role that I've been given, so I can actually prove my worthiness."
Do you understand the message that I copied above?
It’s about, kita dah diberi tanggungjawab. Sekarang ni tugas kita untuk level up our game.
Dalam Majalah Minimalis 8, I ada share tentang “Work On Yourself”:

The more kita spend time dengan something, the more benda tu jadi lebih berharga. Contoh, kita spend time dgn FB, FB jadi berharga. Tengok nilai stock FB.
Kita banyak spend masa dekat kerja, kerja tu yang jadi berharga.
Ada orang yang kena buang kerja, jadi lost, tak tahu nak buat apa. Sebab kerja tu yang berharga.
But, kalau orang tu yang berharga, campak kat mana-mana pun jadi pulau.
So today’s newsletter, I nak share how to work on yourself. Sempena Ramadhan, memang just nice untuk polish diri supaya lebih ‘berharga’.
Macam mutiara, spend time dengan diri, dia jadi berharga.
I’ll divide this into 3 parts: Body, Mind, Soul
Body
In previous newsletter, I share tentang pemakanan. I don’t know if you just read it, or you really work on it.
Cakap tentang pemakanan, I don’t want to force you untuk berubah 180 darjah sekelip mata. But, for this Ramadhan, let’s do ‘no white sugar’ challenge for 1 month.
That means, cuba no air cordial, no air 3-in-1, no kuih-muih, no ice-cream, no chocolate, no anything yang ada white sugar.
You can get sugar from real food, contoh: buah, kurma, and tukar gula putih kepada coconut sugar.
Dekat YouTube, there’s a lot of videos cerita tentang kelebihan stop eating white sugar. Try to check one.
Mind
Untuk mind, first cuba untuk stop scrolling social media for 30 days.
Especially if you’re on TikTok.
Unless, if you create content for social media, and then that’s okay untuk buka social media.
Nonetheless, walaupun you update content, cuba untuk update content, then leave. Tak perlu scroll dah.
Gantikan waktu scrolling dengan mengaji, atau membaca, atau work on your side project.
And then, in last week newsletter, I share with you macam mana nak kurangkan too much thoughts.
So here’s the exercise for 30 days: bila bangun pagi, duduk bertenang. Boleh buka sound yang I share last week, ataupun no sound pun tak apa. Ambil tasbih, and selawat 100x.
The point here is, bila bangun, bertenang dulu. And think about what you’re grateful for.
Exercise ni akan bantu you untuk bertenang sepanjang hari inshaAllah.
I dah try exercise ni with my team sebelum ni. They told me, sebelum ni bangun tidur, terus check fon nak tengok mesej.
Bila bangun, don’t terus ‘react’ dengan fon. Ambil masa bertenang dulu.
And my team said, Alhadulillah, bila cuba tips ni, sepanjang hari tenang.
Soul
In Ramadhan, inshaAllah we all will wake up early untuk sahur.
And this time, let’s istiqamah untuk solat at least 2 rakaat sebelum atau selepas sahur. Yang penting, sebelum Subuh.
And also, cuba improve our solah:
As a minimalist, I don’t want to give “Do this 10 things and see your life changes!” or “21 tips hidup lebih tenang dan bahagia!”
But rather, I only share with you 4 tips sahaja:
Quit white sugar for 30 days
Stop scrolling for 30 days
Bangun, bertenang. Bersyukur. Zikir.
Solat 2 rakaat sebelum/selepas sahur (sebelum Subuh).
